Paper Vault is Sri Lanka’s dedicated open-access educational archive, built by top students and educators to provide free, verified past examination papers and marking schemes.
We believe every student in Sri Lanka deserves an equal opportunity to excel academically, regardless of socioeconomic background, school district, or language medium. Our mission is to eliminate educational friction by creating a lightning-fast, high-resolution digital archive of past papers, official marking schemes, and syllabus blueprints.
Comprehensive archives curated across Sinhala, Tamil, and English mediums for both A/L and O/L national syllabuses.
Zero paywalls, zero artificial countdown timers, and zero misleading redirect links. Just direct high-res PDFs.
Paired official marking criteria and evaluation schemes to help students learn exactly how examiners award marks.
Every past paper, evaluation report, and marking blueprint archived on Paper Vault undergoes multi-point editorial verification before publication:
Scanned against original official Ministry/Department publications to ensure zero omitted questions or erroneous edits.
Digitized and filtered to eliminate page blur, skewing, and scanning artifacts, producing crystal-clear printable text.
Organized strictly by curriculum specifications (G.C.E. Advanced Level, Ordinary Level, Provincial Term Assessments).
Whenever available, question papers are paired with official marking schemes and scoring criteria so students can evaluate their own step-by-step progress.
Paper Vault was founded by former high-ranking Sri Lankan students and software engineers who experienced firsthand the frustration of hunting through broken forum links, cluttered file shares, and illegible low-resolution phone scans while studying for national G.C.E. Advanced Level examinations.
We set out to build the clean, professional, and ultra-responsive repository that Sri Lankan education deserved—organized by grades, streams, subjects, and years with instant search indexing and zero commercial friction.
Our curation team includes university scholars and graduates from leading national institutions (University of Colombo, University of Moratuwa, and University of Peradeniya), partnering with dedicated school educators across all provinces to verify paper authenticity and answer keys.
